SURNAMES:SUTTON
George William Sutton Jr and Ione Ulrich Sutton ... I would like to come in contact with the descendants or the heirs of this couple (pair). George W. Sutton Jr died in 1958, perhaps in New Rochelle (near New York city). His wife, Ione Ulrich Sutton, was still alive in 1966. The father of George was Captain George W. Sutton Sr. In the first years of this century, he was Commodore of the New Rochelle Yatch Club. He was also Chairman of the Board of the Sewer Commissioners. Sutton father and son, were also founding charter members of the Adventurers Club of New York. The least information about the descent of that family would be very invaluable for me. If you cannot help me yourself, do you know references of an institute, university, or of an independent searcher (specialist, author of book, ...) who could help me to find all this informations ? I am a French researcher and I work in Paris (France).

SURNAMES: STARKS
Hi. My name is Richard W. Starks of Tulsa County, Ok. I grew up in St. Louis County, Mo. I am searching for information on the Charles M. Starks family. He is my great-great-uncle. He and his wife Harriet C. Starks are listed in the 1910 Carter County, Mo. census records #42 with their son Herbe. I believe them to have had 8 children with 5 living at that time. Burl Starks, William Starks and Herbe are the only ones that I know of. If you could help me to search out the other children of Charles and Harriet Starks, it would be greatfully appreceiated. Charles and Harriet were married in Crawford County, Mo. in September of 1887. They vanished out of Crawford County after that. I just found them last night in Carter County, Mo. My search for them has been ongoing since last fall. I would very much like to make contact with any and all family decendants that I can.

This Bible belongs to William Earl Wilson, grandson of William Wallace, youngest son of Samuel, and step brother to the above. It was recorded by Earl's grandmother, Violet Roller Wilson. Earl has given his permission for this information to be passed along to other Wilson researchers. Anyone interested in these families, please contact me, either by e-mail or snail mail.

Hello My great grandparents Delitha Ann (Higgins) and Bland Tobin Smallie lived in Grandin, Carter co. Mo. from late 1880's until 1902-03. They are on the 1900 census for Johnson township, house # 259. Their name is listed as Smaley. I was wondring if the original census listed the occupation of the head of household. If so, would it be too much trouble for someone to look on the census and tell me what my grandpa's was. I'm fairly sure he worked for the Lumber mill there in Grandin, but I'm curious about his occupation. Also, do you know if there are any records from the mill still in existence. Payroll records or anything that would connect names to the mill. Any help appreciated. Thank You. Sue Starr *****
